Hi, I'm Lila Naumovski
Your destiny has brought you here, to this place in time. I wish to honour that journey you have had. I feel extremely grateful to be able to support many people on their journey towards a more harmonious life through the use of the Chinese Astrology and Feng Shui tools I have learned.
Clients often have many ‘aha’ moments when they go through their astrology report from me and with that self-awareness comes the ability to create new perspectives on their reality. Awareness allows us to be more in control of whether we react to life or flow with what naturally unfolds before us.
Having knowledge of our own pillars can help us know how to work with the natural elements around and within us. Knowing how our unique elemental structure relates to the calendar, gives us a future map allowing more direction in these chaotic times.
A bit about me – I am a mum to a beautiful eight-year-old daughter, whose presence in my life blessed me with the opportunity to formally study Chinese Astrology and I’ve been passionately devoted to Feng Shui and Chinese Astrology for over 18 years now.
My passion for Feng Shui began in 2003 when the idea of it piqued my interest and so I had a consultant help me make positive changes to my environment and life. Then, in 2008, I was at the Mind Body Festival in Melbourne where I was drawn to a Feng Shui stand. This was where I met a man named Gary Hicky who did a Chinese Astrology mini reading of my date of birth. It resonated so deeply with me that I completely fell in love with Chinese Astrology. I just had to learn more, so I completed my Certificate IV in Chinese Astrology – Four Pillars of Destiny and I haven’t looked back.
These days, I devote my life to mindful living based on Chinese philosophy. I love helping guide people to know more about themselves through their unique gifts, strengths, weaknesses, personalities, and direction in life.
From your date of birth, I can determine the element that defines and guides you on your journey, giving you insight into the past, present and future. I love giving people the ability to forward plan and balance their daily lives.
About Chinese Astrology
The Chinese have observed the cycles of nature and they admired the gifts of the universe. They understood that everything in the universe follows a certain order. Just like the sun will always rise in the east and set in the west. It is believed that everything in the universe, solid or abstract, can be classified into the five elements of wood, fire, earth, metal, and water.
The Chinese zodiac is also a system, similar to Western astrology. But instead of using the birth month and date to determine someone’s horoscope, the Chinese zodiac uses the year of birth based on the lunar calendar. The animal sign that comes with your year of birth represents your character. The 12 animals are: rat, ox, tiger, rabbit, dragon, snake, horse, goat, monkey, rooster, dog and pig.
In the Chinese calendar, which is based on the movements of the moon, every single day of the year doesn’t arrive in the same period in the other years. In other words, the process is not like the Gregorian Calendar and that’s why the New Year (January 1) isn’t steady. Each of the animals that symbolises a Chinese sign is matched with one of 5 elements when its year arrives. Remembering that the cycle is completed in 12 years, an element-animal match is equal to a sum of 60 years, which is calculated as 12 x 5. This period means a century according to the Chinese calendar. This forms another rotation in addition to the year – Chinese sign match.
From your date of birth, I can translate the Five Elements and the Zodiac signs and interpret them using this time-tested Chinese Astrology technique.
Four Pillars of Destiny is a method of calculating and interpreting the five-phase components (qi) you inhaled at birth.
The four pillars are:
Timeliness
If you were born at the right time of year for your specific energy, your chart is classed as "Timely" and life will be generally smooth. If you were born at the wrong time for your specific energy, your chart is considered "Untimely" and life can be a struggle with more stress and illness.
The Attribute Cycle
The Attribute Cycle is based on the Five Elements and allows you to understand a chart and the effects of luck and annual pillars.
Life Cycles
Then I look at the eight "Luck Pillars". The elements within the Luck Pillars can either be beneficial or detrimental; good elements allow you to be successful and make the most of life's opportunities; bad elements can cause confusion, stress and health problems.
Annual Cycles
The "Annual Pillar" shows whether it is a good year or not and in very basic terms, the animal of the year should be compatible with the animals in your chart. Your Year Pillar represents childhood environment, lineage, grandparents and society in general. The Month Pillar represents parents, peers and business talents. The Day Pillar represents the inner self, marriage or partner, whilst the Hour Pillar shows children, old age, siblings, lovers and sex life.
